Taking a short break from the break.
Thanks to all of you who sent kind notes after my break time email. I read them all and appreciate you :-)
I regularly observe this common belief that humans need big changes in their lives to finally start changing theirs. Yes, it works. And sometimes it might be the only option for someone when life hits you with a fence in the face.
But it’s too easy to forget that the tiny little random things, like some words from a strange sentence you read in a book, may lead to more change than we realize.
That hit me recently after reading “My life was changed by four sentences in four books”, where the author shows a few examples of how random sentences made him change his life.
Easily forgotten, but it reminded me that I had similar experiences. Sometimes just a few words making me realize something. Or even a picture or scene in a story.
And then it did its work, and magic happened to spark some change.
Sometimes more, sometimes less.
Savor those tiny moments and make the best out of those.
