Stop focusing on what you can not control

Life is full of lessons and reminders.

They come at times and in forms you never expect.

Like last December as suddenly, my YouTube channel got disfavored by the algorithm god, and most videos since then just collect dust, aka get less than 10 views.

It came out of nowhere.

Left me confused. Wtf.

Even mad.

Until I realized I should let these emotions be and focus on what I can do now instead.

But that quickly turned into an “I can’t actually do anything” situation.

That’s sobering up.

It’s nothing that’s in a sphere I can control.

Nobody knows how and why those algorithms decide. Not even their creators.

So, I just dropped those thoughts. It’s a waste to continue down the spiral of endless guesswork and things out of my control.

Instead, I picked the most counterintuitive option I could control and went with that.

And wrote a reminder for you and me to stop dwelling on things you can not control and focus on what you can. It’s better for our wellbeing.

Now go, like, and subscribe to my meditation and lofi music channel

🤣 now that was a smooth plug I couldn’t resist
