keep calm and get up

Today’s email is a short reminder to just get up and keep going after you “failed” or missed.

I started writing again on a regular basis and aim to send one email on Sundays.

Sometimes I write only one for the week, sometimes I write more and schedule them for Sundays.

But not yesterday.

I did remember on Thursday that I need to write the email.

It slipped again.

I did remember it on Saturday evening.

On Sunday morning.

And then I started cooking lasagne, ate, and finally helped my daughter with decluttering her room.

And it was totally gone.

Until now.

Now I had two options as we all do in those situations.

I could have gotten frustrated, angry, or even started beating myself up that I can never adhere to a schedule and I always fail, and all those thoughts that come up for many.

Or simply laugh it off, shake my head, and turn that into an email. And move on.

Guess what I did?

The choice is always yours to make. So make one that builds you up and keep going.
