Ugh, that was terrible planning for today’s email, but it was a good lesson nonetheless.
Going on a french fries and chocolate tour to Belgium with my daughter was awesome; expecting myself to write my mindfulness email when I just returned yesterday evening was not.
Anyhow, we can make this a short gratitude exercise :-)
Pause whatever you’re doing and think of one thing you’re truly grateful for. It could be the morning coffee, a friendly message from a friend, the comfort of your surroundings, the delicious french fries from yesterday, or spending time with your kid.
Savor the moment, be thankful you could experience it, and allow that cheerful feeling to fill you up. It’s amazing how such a small exercise can shift our perspective and lift our spirits!
While showing you what’s important to you.
