Everything comes to an end.
Although I don’t like talking in absolutes as one case is enough to disprove it, it fits well with the statement.
Or maybe it’s a rare exception as change is inevitable and with change things end. Who knows.
Summer vacation ends today and tomorrow my daughter’s back to school and the everyday life routines are back.
The mood is down, of course. Nobody wants to go back to school or routine life or autumn approaching.
But as with everything, it comes to an end.
And when something ends, something else starts.
That’s change.
Now the thing is, how do you handle it?
Can you let loose of the old?
Or indulge in sulking about the end of summer vacation.
Feeling annoyed, fearful, or ugh for the things coming.
Fretting about days getting shorter and becoming colder and the feel of autumn.
Some changes you can change to your benefit, others not.
I can’t change autumn as much as I like to. Moving to a place with less or no autumn would be a solution.
Or I could just accept it and make the best out of it.
Change might be out of your control but what you can control is how you respond to it. How you feel, how you think, how you act.
Wether it’s back-to-school, autumn, or whatever.
