Respect is something that you earn every single time, again and again.
And when I earned that respect from a person, they will treat me with that respect.
But it’s still not something that I can demand or expect now.
I have to work for it every time again. Otherwise, this respect is gone down the toilet before you can even say A.
It’s like trust.
You have to work your ass off to get it from someone but it can be gone in a flush with one stupid thing you did or even did not.
