Change

Change is everywhere. Everyday.

It’s the only constant thing in the universe.

It’s neither bad nor good per se.

Yet, people are afraid of it most of the time and often don’t even know it.

Doesn’t matter if the change is good or bad.

But why you might wonder.

It’s because our brain is lazy.

It wants stability and security so it can stay lazy and sloth around. Saving energy.

And any change threatens that.

But lucky, we can train it and think and act differently regarding any change.

Just look outside. Winter is gone, and we’ve entered springtime here in the northern hemisphere.

It’s great for me because I love spring and summer. It’s getting brighter again, warmer, and everything around me looks livelier again.

But for others, it’s a painful time; maybe they’ve got pollen allergies.

Now they can fret about it or see this unpleasant change as a chance for another change.

Like investigating why they got this allergic reaction in the first place.

Change is always an opportunity, too, and your inner attitude determines how you see it.

You can fear change and do nothing.

You can fear change and fight against it.

Accept it and do nothing.

Accept it and use it as a chance to improve your life and the life of those you care about.

You’ve got choices with every single change.

Become aware of changes around you and remember that they can be opportunities too.

Then pick how you wanna deal with it.

And whatever you pick, just make sure it’s a conscious decision you can live with.
