People feel offended when another person shows them a middle finger or calls them an asshole, m*fucker, or whatever.
But the thing is, why?
Who decided that a middle finger is offensive?
And why do you feel obliged to adhere to that decision?
If something offends you or better correctly phrased, you feel offended by it, then it’s a you-problem.
You have the problem.
It’s your feeling.
Based on your mind and past.
It’s not the other person, nor the word, image, or whatever.
It’s idiotic to look on the outside for a problem within.
And the solution is within too.
Instead, people feeling offended try to solve their issues on the outside.
They try to ban words, middle fingers, and “educate” others that showing a middle finger is offensive and an insult and that y’all never ever should show middle fingers.
They go miles to complain and “educate” others, instead of looking where the solution lies.
Within them.
It’s their feeling.
Understand why you have those feelings and change how you handle them.
Problem solved.
With the bonus that others lose control over you because you can’t be triggered that easily.
