Why why why why why

“Why?” might be the most powerful question you can ask.

At least, if you don’t stop at superficial answers.

Dig deeper, be honest, and you’ll find your answers.

According to the 5-why method, it is usually at the fifth iteration or earlier.

But there are exceptions, of course.

Sometimes you, your consciousness, and your subconscious just don’t know the answer yet.

It might be pretty cloudy.

Like for me, and why I continue to write my email. I stopped selling a long time ago, haven’t published any new issues of the MindfulDevMag, and haven’t done anything on the website. But I still write to you weekly.

Why?

I don’t know yet. No answer turned out to be the reason.

So, I just continue.

Yet, there’s another reason you might not find your answer by honestly answering the whys.

Protection.

Sometimes the true reason might be too harsh, having too many tough consequences for now, so our mind shuts down for protection.

Like it’d disrupt your self-identity and self-esteem.

The toughest case.

Or it might make drastic changes in your life.

Our minds are scared of this.

We’d rather stay in worse situations we are familiar with than make the changes.

When we follow the how, we can get out of it. Baby-step by baby-step.

Flying under the radar of “drastic changes that block us.”

But everything starts by following the rabbit hole of whys.
